Why is it as soon as I get on the telephone all three children need something immediately?
Why is it when Clayton says "I play Thomas Train" it sounds like "I pay John McCain"?
Why is it when I make a special trip to the store to purchase one item, they are out of it?
Why does my 4-1/2 year old have to sit so close to me on the sofa that I cannot move my arms or legs?
Why is there suddenly screaming in the other room as soon as I step one foot into the shower?
Why do my jeans not fit as well after Christmas as they did before Christmas? [Sorry, I do know the answer to that one.]
Why is it when I actually go to the trouble of making dinner, my husband is working late?
Why do all three children fight over a toy when we have three identical copies of the same toy?
Why does my 6-1/2 year old actually move slower when we are running late?
Why is my husband NEVER able to find anything??
Why do my kids always want to eat what's on my plate, even if it's already on theirs? Even if it's Kashi Go Lean Krunch or broccoli?
Ours is not to wonder why, ours is just to do or die.

My sentiments exactly! Especially the kids needing you the second you are on the phone!Yesterday I just ignored them during this terrible display of screaming while I was on the phone. I can only imagine what my friend thought!
Why, oh why??? When you find the answers to these questions...please pass along any valuable information. :)
So true..and so, so, torturous.
I so relate. Especially the one about cooking dinner and then getting the dreaded call that my sweetie is working late. Never fails.
